When you participate in any process conducted by Interhunter, you entrust us with your data and information. We are committed to maintaining that trust.

To that end, this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains in a clear and accessible manner how your information and data will be collected, used, shared, and stored through our systems.

Acceptance of our Policy will be made when you access or use Interhunter’s website, application or services. This will indicate that you are aware of and fully agree with how we will use your information and data.

  1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following types of information:

 

  • Information You Provide to Us.

 

This includes:

  • Registration data. When you participate in any process conducted by Interhunter, you provide us with information such as data necessary to apply for vacancies, such as, for example, email, name, username and, if there is a login option, password. In addition, this may involve professional data such as resume, past experience and remuneration, among other data necessary to evaluate the candidate’s profile.
  • Connection by third-party services. When you use third-party applications and platforms to register for a process conducted by Interhunter (e.g., LinkedIn), we may collect the data you provide to us through these services, such as Personal Information linked to the user’s account in the application, necessary for a certain selection process, such as name, email, current position, past companies, as well as other information that users may spontaneously force us to do. In this case, we will respect your privacy settings and ask for permission for the collection of such data.
  • Information generated when you use our services.

 

We collect the following generated information:

  • Communications with Interhunter. When you communicate with Interhunter, we collect information about your communication, including metadata such as the date and time of communications and all of their content, as well as any information you choose to provide.

 

  • Information from Other Sources.

 

This may include:

  • Data collected from other platforms. Interhunter may interact with other platforms and other services, such as LinkedIn, Google Drive, among others. Some of these services may provide us with information about you, which we will collect in order to provide you with a better experience and to further improve our services and offer you new features, as well as to use the information in the selection process and the formation of user profiles, which may be used in other selection processes.

 

  1. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

It doesn’t hurt to remember, we value your privacy very much. Therefore, all data and information about you is treated as confidential, and we will only use it for the purposes described herein and authorized by you, always aiming to improve your experience as a user and candidate.

 

  • Authorized Uses

In this way, we may use your data to:

  • Allow you to participate in the selection processes conducted by the Interhunter Group;
  • Send you messages regarding support or service, such as alerts, notifications, and updates;
  • Communicate with you about products, services, promotions, news, updates, events, and other matters you may be interested in;
  • Personalize the service to suit your tastes and interests;
  • Verify or authenticate the information you provide, including by comparing it to data collected from other sources;
  • Reuse of curriculum in selection processes worked by Interhunter;
  • For any purpose that you authorize at the time of data collection;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

From time to time, we may use data for purposes not provided for in this privacy policy, but these will be within your legitimate expectations. Any use of your data for purposes that do not comply with this prerogative will be done with your prior authorization.

 

  • Deletion of data

All data collected will be deleted from our servers when you request it, by a free and facilitated procedure, or when they are no longer necessary or relevant for us to offer you our services, unless there is any other reason for its maintenance, such as any legal obligation to retain data or the need to preserve it to safeguard Interhunter’s rights.

In cases where you request the deletion of your data, we may keep your data for six (6) months from the date of your deletion request

  • User Deletion

Interhunter reserves the right to delete certain user profiles or data, regardless of the type, if this Policy is not respected in its processes. As we value a good relationship with users, we recognize that they have the right to seek to understand the reasons and even contest them, which can be done by the following e-mail: dpointerhunter@gmail.com

 

  1. INFORMATION SHARING

All data, information and content about you may be considered active in the event of trades in which Interhunter is a party. Therefore, we reserve the right, for example, to include your data among the company’s assets in the event that the company is sold, acquired, or merged with another. You hereby agree and are aware of this possibility.

Interhunter reserves the right to provide its data and information about you, including your interactions, if legally required to do so, as necessary for the company to comply with national laws, or if you expressly authorize it.

 

  1. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

You can always choose not to disclose your data to us, but please keep in mind that some of this data may be necessary to use the functionality of our applications. Regardless, you will always have rights regarding privacy and protection of your personal data.

In this way, below we summarize all the rights you have under the Brazilian sectoral laws related to data protection and the General Data Protection Law (“LGPD”), which are:

  • Right of access. This right enables you to request and receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification. This right allows you, at any time, to request the correction and/or rectification of your personal data if you identify that some of it is incorrect. However, in order for this correction to be effective, we will have to check the validity of the data you provide to us. You can directly rectify some of your personal data via email joanna@interhunter.com.
  • Right to Erasure. This right allows you to ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you. All data collected will be deleted from our servers when you request it or when it is no longer necessary or relevant for us to offer you our services, unless there is any other reason for its maintenance, such as any legal obligation to retain data or the need to preserve it to safeguard Interhunter’s rights. To change your personal information or delete it from our database, simply send an email to joanna@interhunter.com.
  • Right to object to processing. You also have the right to object to where and in what context we are processing your personal data for different purposes. In certain situations, we may demonstrate that we have legitimate grounds to process your data, which override your rights if, for example, they are essential for the provision of our applications.
  • Right to request anonymization, blocking, or deletion. This right allows you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the accuracy of the data; (b) where you need the data to be kept even if we no longer need it, as necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or (c) if you have objected to our use of your data, but in this case we need to verify that we have legitimate grounds to use it.
  • Right to portability. We will provide you, or a third party you have chosen, with your personal data in a structured and interoperable format.
  • Right to withdraw your consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out previously. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide you with certain services.
  • Right to review automated decisions. You also have the right to request a review of decisions made solely on the basis of automated processing of your personal data that affect your interests, including decisions aimed at personal, professional, consumer and credit profiling and/or aspects of your personality.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you for more information in relation to your request in order to expedite our response. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within 5 business days. Occasionally, it may take longer than 5 days if your request is particularly complex or if you have made multiple requests. In this case, we will communicate with you and keep you updated on the progress of your request.

  1. INFORMATION SECURITY

All your data is confidential and only people with the proper authorizations will have access to it. Any use of these will be in accordance with this Policy. Interhunter will use all reasonable efforts to ensure the security of our systems and your data. Our servers are located in different locations to ensure stability and security, and can only be accessed through previously authorized communication channels.

All your information will be, whenever possible, encrypted, if it does not make it impossible for the platform to use it. At any time, you may request a copy of your data stored in our systems. We will keep the data and information only as long as they are necessary or relevant for the purposes described in this Policy, or in case of periods predetermined by law, or until they are necessary for the maintenance of Interhunter’s legitimate interests.

Interhunter takes your privacy extremely important and will do everything in its power to protect it. However, we cannot guarantee that all data and information about you on our platform will be free from unauthorized access, especially if there is improper sharing of the credentials necessary to access our application. Therefore, you are solely responsible for keeping your password in a safe place and it is forbidden to share it with third parties. You undertake to notify Interhunter immediately, by secure means, of any unauthorized use of your account, as well as unauthorized access by third parties to it.

 

  1. PRIVACY POLICY UPDATES

Interhunter reserves the right to change this Policy as often as necessary in order to provide you with more security, convenience, and to improve your experience. That’s why it’s very important to access our Policy periodically. To make it easier, we indicate at the beginning of the document the date of the last update. If material changes are made that give rise to new consents from you, we will publish a new privacy policy, subject again to your consent.

 

  1. APPLICABLE LAW

This document is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil.  The Court of the District of São Paulo, São Paulo, is hereby elected as the competent one to settle any issues that may arise from this document, with express waiver of any other, however privileged it may be.
